The Woodlands Concert Band is sponsoring our 7th Annual Soloist Competition. Eligible high school students are encouraged to apply for a chance to win one of three cash awards of $1,000, $500 or $300. We are hoping that holding this contest during solo and ensemble season will encourage more people to apply for this opportunity and will help with getting a video performance with accompaniment. We have had many successful, and quality videos submitted that were taken on an iPhone during a district or UIL solo contest.
