As you may have heard, Mike and Chris Ragan have retired and will be relocating to Austin sometime after June of this year. We will miss them greatly. Chris has spent untold hours archiving all the documents, programs, and pictures that have been scattered amongst many different people. That effort can be viewed on the website under the "About Us" link. On the right hand side there is a "View Archive". This effort is invaluable and we are looking for someone who can continue with this project.

The good thing is Chris has already done all of the hard work. When I asked her how much time it is now taking her to keep everything up to date, she said about 30 minutes following each concert. Is there someone who can step up and fill this needed position?

We need to start getting a feeling for who is available for our joint concert with the Carrollton Winds on June 1 in Frisco, TX. The timing of the concert is such that one could drive up that day, play the concert, and drive back that evening, arriving back in Houston before 10PM. Or one could make a more leisurely trip, spend the night on Friday and/or the night on Saturday after the concert. Regardless, we must have a strong showing because this will be the only time that members of this audience will hear us perform. I will be passing around a list indicating participation on Thursday. If you are not playing this concert but available in June, please respond to this email and let me know.
