I wanted to take a moment to reflect on this past season and to thank you for another exceptional season of music making. I appreciate everyone’s contributions that have created such meaningful musical moments. It is an honor to stand in front of you every week. Be sure to thank and show your appreciation for the board and the section leaders, for their leadership and organizational skills that makes my job so much easier.

The home page of the website has been updated to feature the performances of our three outstanding soloists. Please share the website, woodlandsband.org, with all your friends, neighbors, and family members. The archive section has the music from Sunday’s concert. You should be receiving an email from your section leader inquiring about your availability for the 4th of July Market Street concert, and I hope you can join us. Please respond back to them this week. Market Street has asked for a chair count. We have a one-hour rehearsal the Thursday before the 4th and then an hour for a concert. The Southern Montgomery County organization that hosts the parade will be donating $500 to the band.
